NRAC, an independent civilian scientific advisory group dedicated to providing objective analyses in the areas of science, research and development, serves as a corporate consultant to the Secretary of the Navy (SecNav), the Assistant Secretary to the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN) (RD&A), the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) and the Chief of Naval Research (CNR).

The 15-member Committee — comprised of representatives from industry, academia, research institutes or non-DoD government agencies who are foremost leaders in a scientific, medical, research and/or development arena — relies on Jorge personnel to support its investigative studies, quarterly meetings, two-week summer studies, formal briefings and written reports, recommendations and implementation plans.

Jorge personnel deliver this broad spectrum of services
to the Committee, its steering group and various NRAC study panels onsite at the Office of Naval Research as well as aboard Navy and Marine Corps installations, laboratories and various submarines, aircraft carriers and naval ships worldwide.
