Jorge’s Strategic Communications team successfully executed ONR’s seamless transition from a traditional public affairs office to one that delivers comprehensive strategic engagement, exhibit, web design and communications services to a global constituency.

An executive branch agency within the Department of Defense, the Office of Naval Research (ONR) oversees a diverse investment portfolio aimed at providing scientific and technological advantages for U.S. forces worldwide.
From 1997 to 2010, Jorge provided onsite support to ONR's Corporate Strategic Communications (CSC) office as it ensured that leadership, scientists and researchers met ONR’s external and internal communication responsibilities.
Through its government-industry team, CSC was able to assess the information and communication needs of the organization and its stakeholders in the Navy, Department of Defense, industry, academia and the public and then deliver communication strategies, processes and products to fulfill those needs. These joint efforts ensured that ONR provided full and accurate information to its constituents
in a timely manner, enabling a clear understanding of ONR’s mission and earning the trust and informed support of its stakeholders.
